Over the summer and autumn 2019, we have delivered sessions for volunteers in partnership with Grow Wild project by Kew Gardens that provided us with a grant to cover the costs of the activities. The aim was to promote and engage the community in nature conservation activities, in particular, planting wildflowers and creating habitats for native species of animals. We have engaged individuals, families, and groups of organised volunteers in planting wildflowers, building bug hotels, positioning new bird feeders, nests, hedgehog houses, and learning about wild fungi. We have also built a raised bed on the roof of the shipping container we operate from and this time the following year we are watching it come to life! Below, you can read more about groups who worked with on this and other projects.
